- Owner Michelle Perkins established Physio Plus Pilates Noosa in 2005 as a way to combine hands-on Physiotherapy with Pilates exercise techniques. Since then, she has built a professional team around her who are passionate about providing the best care to all clients through the power of targeted exercise.
By combining Physiotherapy knowledge with specialised exercise programmes, our team aim to teach clients strategies to manage sport injuries or musculoskeletal conditions, so they don’t have to rely on short-term remedies. We’re dedicated to helping our clients enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle.

In the adjoining Studio, Leigh Leimann of Dance Movement for Life offers a range of different dance classes : Seated dance, Adult ballet, Salsa, and “Move and Groove”.
There are also a number of different yoga classes in this studio, so you will be sure to find the right exercise for your needs.

Located in Noosaville, our premises are comfortable, light, airy and fitted with Pilates equipment including Reformers, Cadillac and Wunda Chairs. Our studio has a fun and friendly atmosphere that you’ll look forward to coming back to.
Michelle works with three Pilates instructors and a practice manager. All of our staff members undergo continual training to keep up to date with the latest developments in both Physiotherapy and Pilates.

Michelle also supervises and guides Certified Pilates Instructors of all studio classes. Our instructors have ongoing discussions with Michelle regarding any issues clients may be struggling with and together come up with an appropriate programme for their needs. We believe this extra attention and knowledge is what sets us apart from the “one size fits all” Reformer Pilates studios.

Belinda’s bright smile and ever-positive attitude will make you believe in the power of Pilates to get you moving in ways you never thought possible. She believes that we just need to get moving and keep moving regardless of age or disability. Her caring nature ensures she is always looking after you as an individual, not just another number.
Certified Pilates Instructor (Polestar)
Simone has been attending Pilates classes with Michelle at Physio + Pilates Noosa for over 10 years to deal with various postural, shoulder and knee issues from her netball career.
She fell in love with Pilates and has now recently completed her full Certification in Polestar Pilates training. This is a very intensive course and Simone is eager to share the benefits of Pilates to all her clients.
Simone also teaches Yin yoga and takes the men’s yoga class.
Clinical Pilates Instructor
Peytrah is a German -trained Physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience and additional training in many forms of manual therapy These include Craniosacral, Visceral, Lymphatic drainage and Reflexology. Her gentle therapy will ease tension and help you to unwind and be able to move with more freedom and less pain.
Peytrah also has done Clinical Pilates training and teaches remedial pilates classes. She loves combining her “hands-on” therapy with follow-up Pilates to keep you moving and feeling better.
