Move better, feel better with Physio + Pilates Noosa
Michelle Perkins is the owner of Physio Plus Pilates Noosa and is a manual Physiotherapist as well as a certified Pilates instructor, and works to transition you from the treatment room to our specialised exercise programmes for expert exercise advice. When your condition has stabilised, you may wish to join our Pilates classes to maintain your strength and flexibility. We can ensure that these classes are targeted to your specific needs and on-going communication between your Physio and your pilates instructor means you will achieve the best results safely. New to the team is Physiotherapist Lisa Horton, who will provide hands-on treatment, as well as supervise your exercise programme to get you back to your best. Lisa is also passionate about the benefits of yoga for all body types, ages, and fitness levels and will be teaching “Any Body” yoga classes.
Our Physios also do all the initial assessments for Pilates clients, ensuring your programme will be safe and targeted to your specific areas of need.
We take the time to listen to you and analyse your problem to enable us to work out the best treatment plan for you. An accurate diagnosis makes for a much shorter treatment programme, so you can get back to your life more quickly. We also aim to educate you about your condition, and teach you how to avoid either on-going pain and disability, or constant recurrences of injury.
Each client receives our undivided attention for their appointment time. We won’t leave you on a machine while we treat someone else. We believe our hands are the best, most effective tools of all.
Our treatments are “hands-on” and at least half an hour’s length, enabling us to release the tight muscles and stiff joints that are contributing to your pain. With many years of Physiotherapy experience, we know what works to get you out of pain and stiffness.
